80 minute drive from thunder bay. Had the pleasure of visiting today. Its a rather short hike to both lookouts. One was 400 meters, the other lookout is 350 meters. Absolutely breathtaking views. Worth the drive. I believe the park fee was $5. Definitely worth a stop. There is also the suspension bridge and zip lining 15 minutes away, down the road.

This is literally one of my very favorite places. It is a day park dedicated to a geological wonder. It is a way to protect this wonder, not a way to get your cash. I read the reviews and am disturbed by how many people never visited it, but thought they did. This is not Eagle Canyon. It does not have zip lines or a bridge over it. It is not overpriced as one person incorrectly stated. It will not take up your whole day but is unquestionably worth the visit.

Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend you check this out. Truly a wonder of this world, the grand canyon of Canada! Who knew!? Views are spectacular and its about 1km on easy trails from the parking area. There are two lookouts on site and a couple additional "unofficial spots". No admission, Ontario Park passes required but no booth or reps on site. This is managed by Sleeping Giant Provincial Park 20min down the highway, you can come direct to Ouimet canyon without need to check in or anything; I only mention this as if yoy happen to call the phone number listed on Google they'll answer from Sleeping Giant. For future knowledge of anyone coming through with a camper trailer, YES you can manage fine to get into the park, it's a narrow 2-lane road (9km in from the Trans canada), there is a trailer/RV parking area about 1-2km before the summit upward to the final parking area. It's recommended to drop your trailer or RV as the hills beyond this are fairly steep grades, technically not impossible though. There is posted sinage of the trailer/RV lot area. I wish I knew this beforehand as I wanted to drop my trailer off and check out the scenery, the rep wasn't entirely sure on the phone, so I made a separate trip a day later after backtracking my route, just to find out I could have dropped my trailer in the park! Public restrooms on site, no booth park guard on site, souvenir building closed and has postage signage to go to Sleeping Giant for souvenirs.

Breathtaking views of one of Ontario’s best kept secrets. Just a short walk from the parking area, along some very well maintained trails, you will find yourself taking in an amazing, sweeping view of the second biggest canyon outside of the Grand Canyon south of the border. Kids loved it. Bring a camera for sure.

Wonderful creation of nature. Parking available. Small trail. Make sure to carry mosquito or bug spray with you. Amazing view point.

Beautiful place. Not real sure how anyone in a wheelchair would access most of the trail to the viewing platforms, but the viewing platforms themselves, the bridge, and a small boardwalk are truly accessible. Short hike! Quiet! Remote wildreness! Saw bears on our drive in! Vault toilet only. No hand sanitizer.

Stunning view after a short walk from parking lot. Well worth the time and short distances from Trans Canada Highway.

Easy, quick hike to stunning views above the canyon. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, was because the park office there is permanently boarded up and the pit toilets are not well maintained.
